Form
CDK1: CDK1 can be located to the Nucleus, cytoplasm and Mithocondria. It's cytoplasmic during interphase and reversibly translocated from cytoplasm to the nucleus when phosphorilated before G2-M transition when associated with cyclin-B1. Accumulates in mitochondria in G2-arrested cells upon DNA-damage.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - HRP Anti-CDK1 + CDK2 + CDK3 (phospho T14) antibody [E161] (ab193834)
IHC image of CDK1 staining in a section of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human Hodgkin's Lymphoma*. The section was pre-treated using pressure cooker heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 30mins, and incubated overnight at +4°C with ab193834 at 1µg/ml. DAB was used as the chromogen (ab103723), diluted 1/100 and incubated for 10min at room temperature. The section was counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX. The inset negative control image is taken from an identical assay without primary antibody.
For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.
