Function
Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone. -
Sequence similarities
Belongs to the complex I 24 kDa subunit family. -
Cellular localization
Mitochondrion inner membrane. - Information by UniProt

HRP Anti-NDUFV2 antibody [EPR15351(B)] (ab209040) at 1/5000 dilution + Heart (Human) Tissue Lysate - fetal normal tissue at 10 µg
Developed using the ECL technique.
Performed under reducing conditions.
Predicted band size: 27 kDa
Observed band size: 24 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Exposure time: 20 minutesThis blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MES buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 35 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with ab209040 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ab133406.
