Target

  • Function

Interacts with HSP70 and can stimulate its ATPase activity. Stimulates the association between HSC70 and HIP.
  • Sequence similarities

    Contains 1 J domain.
  • Cellular localization

Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Nucleus > nucleolus. Translocates rapidly from the cytoplasm to the nucleus, and especially to the nucleoli, upon heat shock.

Customer reviews and Q&As

Answer

Thank you for contacting us yesterday. I have received information from the source of the product: "The immunogen sequence is recombinant DNAJ of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, Q66YD3.  And as far as we know the only known reactivity is Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, but we haven’t tested it on anything else ourselves.  And as far as I can see, there have been no known reactivities tested in the literature either." I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have further questions.
