Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab74248 in the following tested applications.

The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Application Abreviews Notes
WB Use a concentration of 5 - 10 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 85 kDa.

Use at a concentration of 5 - 10 µg/ml for 2 hours at room temperature.

IP Use at 10 µg/mg of lysate.

(Native verified, use Protein A)

IHC-P Use a concentration of 5 - 10 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Use at a concentration of 5 - 10 µg/ml for 30 minutes at room temperature. Staining of formalin fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 to 20 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

ICC/IF Use at an assay dependent concentration.

  • Formalin fixed, paraffin embedded human breast carcinoma tissue stained with ab74248 at 10µg/ml, using peroxidase conjugate and AEC chromogen. Note cytoplasmic and nuclear staining of tumor cells.
  • Anti-Hsp90 alpha antibody (ab74248) at 10 µg/ml + Mouse cells-1

    Predicted band size: 85 kDa
    Observed band size: 85 kDa

  • IP/Western blot of mouse cells-1. IP with ab74248 at 10µg/mg protein lysates.
