  • Product overview

Abcam’s Annexin V Human in vitro ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for accurate quantitative measurement of Human Annexin V concentrations in cell culture supernatant and serum.

Annexin V specific antibodies have been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards and test samples are added to the wells along with a biotinylated Annexin V detection antibody then incubated at room temperature and washed. A Streptavidin-HRP conjugate is then added to each well, incubated at room temperature and washed. TMB is added and catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changes into yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration is directly proportional to the amount of Annexin V sample captured in plate.

Answer

Thank you very much for your inquiry.

Once the standard is reconstituted, we recommend using them immediately and then discarding the remaining portion.
We have not performed stability studies regarding the long -term storage of reconstituted standard protein and cannot guarantee its performance.

Do you have already problems getting good standard curves at the initial reconstitution? If so, please do let us know the details of your protocol, the steps you have performed as well as the raw annotated data, and I will be pleased to look into this in more details. We do indeed guarantee all our products to work as stated on the datasheet.

I am sorry for not being able to be more helpful on this occasion. Please do let us know if we could assist you otherwise or if you like to order the components.

Answer

We have not performed stability studies regarding the long -term storage of reconstituted standard protein so unfortunately it is an open question as to the effects of storage on the standard.
I hope this is helpful. Please contact me again if you have any further questions.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us. The reconstitution instructions for the standard are lot specific and will be written on the vial. If for any reason it is not, please let us know your lot number and we will be happy to find that information for you.
