  • Product overview

Abcam’s Cathepsin L Human in vitro ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for accurate quantitative measurement of Human Cathepsin L concentrations in cell culture supernatant and serum. This kit is not suitable for the detection of Cathepsin L in plasma.

Cathepsin L specific antibodies have been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards and test samples are added to the wells along with a biotin-conjugated Cathepsin L detection antibody then incubated at room temperature. Following washing, a Streptavidin-HRP conjugate is added to each well, incubated at room temperature and washed. TMB is added and then catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue product that changes to yellow after the addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration is directly proportional to the amount of Cathepsin L captured on the plate.

Answer

Thank you for your telephone enquiry.

I can confirm as discussed on the telephone that we have the following cathepsin L ELISA kit

ab119509Cathepsin L Human ELISA Kit (with color giving dyes
https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=119509 (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=119509).

The antibodies in this kit recognize mature human cathepsin L and procathepsin L. Immunogen of both antibodies: Purified human procathepsin L (source: culture supernatant of non-small cell lung cancer cell line EPLC 32 M1)

I am sorry we do not have ELISA kits for cathepsin S.

I hope this information will be helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
