Question (44018) | Human Hemopexin ELISA Kit (HPX) (ab108859)

Go to datasheet (ab108859)

I recently purchased a Human Hemopexin ELISA kit #ab108859 from your company and I am confused by the directions for diluting the lyophilized standard. The directions in the protocol say to dilute with appropriate amount of diluents to make a standard solution of 5ug/mL. The standard bottle has 3.5ug. I am not sure how I can dilute it properly to 5ug/mL with, if I’m reading this correctly, only 3.5ug in the bottle. Please advise.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Sorry for the confusion here. A large excess of Standard is provided in this ELISA kit. To properly dilute the standard, just reconstitute the 3.5ug Standard you received in 0.7ml of Diluent to produce a 5ug/ml Standard solution.

I hope this is helpful. Please contact me again if you have any further questions.
