Inquiry: Dear Abcam, I am interested in purchasing your HSV-2 human IgG ELISA kit but I have the following questions: 1. What are the positive and negative controls? Ideally, they would be human serum samples with confirmed presence/absence of HSV-2 IgG, respectively. 2. The HSV-1/2 IgM kit also detects VZV. Does the HSV-2 IgG kit suffer from the the same limitation? 3. We wish to test ˜1200 patient samples. Would you offer a discount on a bulk order? Thanks for your help, Will

Thank you for your message and inquiry regarding the HSV-2 IgG ELISA. The kit controls contain human serum or plasma samples. There is no cross reactivity with VZV IgG positive samples. We do offer a discount on bulk orders of 10 units or more. For more information on this please contact mailto:sales@abcam.com. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
