  • Product overview

Abcam’s IGFBP4 Human ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human IGFBP4 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants.

This assay employs an antibody specific for Human IGFBP4 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and IGFBP4 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Human IGFBP4 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IGFBP4 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

Question
Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

We have in our catalogue the IGFBP4 protein (active form). The reference is ab125753 and the link to the datasheet is https://www.abcam.com/ab125753.

A tissue that is recommended as a positive control for the expression of IGFBP4 is liver. I thought the catalogue reference number ab131380, Human liver tissue lysate, may also be of interest for you. The link to the datasheet of this lysate is https://www.abcam.com/ab131380.
