How was it determined that this antibody does not cross react with mouse? I'd like to use it in WB and IHC-P to detect human IgG specifically in a human sample xenografted into mouse tissue.

We tested ab109489 on mouse kidney, spleen, heart, brain, serum and thymus lysates in WB and did not see any bands at all (results attached). For this reason, we do not recommend the antibody for use with mouse nor do we expect cross-reactivity.
