Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

Because we carry over 70,000 products, it isn't feasible for us to keep small sample sizes of our products.

We are happy to reassure our customers that all of our products are covered by our Abpromise, which guarantees that the product will work in the applications and species specified on the datasheet, or we will offer a replacement, credit, or refund within 6 months of purchase.

This antibody has been successfully tested in ELISA, but we cannotmake a predictionif this antibody will work in an sandwich ELISAunder this circumstances..

Otherwise, we like to encourage all of our customers to submit an Abreview via the online product datasheet. We always appreciate customer feedback, whether positive or negative, and we make all product information available to researchers. Plus, each Abreview earns Abpoints that can be used for discounts on future purchases or rewards such as Amazon.com gift certificates.

Answer

Thank you for your enquiry.

I can confirm that ab77118 is suitable for detection of human IgG in ELISA. It is tested in human only and is not tested on rabbit.

I am assuming the customer is wanting to detect rabbit IgG in their samples, and that they are not looking for suitable secondary antibodies? Please confirm if this is correct?

For detection of rabbit IgG in ELISA I can recommend the following:

ab128396 Rabbit IgG antibody [LO-RG-1]
Rat monoclonal
Tested in: ELISA, ICC/IF
Reacts with: Rabbit
https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=128396 (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=128396).

The following unconjugated secondary antibodies will detect rabbit IgM and they are tested in ELISA:

ab97191 Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Rabbit IgM - mu chain
Tested in: ELISA, ICC, IHC-P, WB
Reacts with: Rabbit
https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=97191 (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=97191).

ab80301 Rat monoclonal [SB87a] Secondary Antibody to Rabbit IgG+IgM, pre-adsorbed
Tested in: ELISA, Flow Cyt
Reacts with: Rabbit
https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=80301 (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=80301).

I hope this will be helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate tocontact us.
