  • Product overview

Abcam’s Lysozyme (LZM) Human in vitro competitive ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Lysozyme in milk.

A Lysozyme specific antibody has been precoated onto 96-well plates and blocked. Standards or test samples are added to the wells and subsequently biotinylated Lysozyme is added and then followed by washing with wash buffer. Streptavidin-Peroxidase Complex is added and unbound conjugates are washed away with wash buffer. TMB is then used to visualize Streptavidin-Peroxidase enzymatic reaction. TMB is catalyzed by Streptavidin-Peroxidase to produce a blue color product that changes into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow coloration is inversely proportional to the amount of Lysozyme captured in plate.

The entire kit may be stored at -20°C for long term storage before reconstitution - Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Answer

Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, we do not have any human lysozyme antibodies that have been used as a pair in a sandwich ELISA or for lateral flow available in our catalog.
I would like to recommend checking the Biocompare website which has an excellent antibody search facility that includes many suppliers. The links are:
www.biocompare.com

However, we do have a Lysozyme Human ELISA Kit, ab108880 (www.abcam.com/ab108880) or a Lysozyme Human ELISA Kit, ab108877 (www.abcam.com/ab108877) which I believe may be of interest to you.
I hope this information is nevertheless helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions in this regard.

Thank you for contacting us.

As suggested on the datasheet, I recommend diluting the samples 1:200 in Diluent. If necessary, further dilute samples within the range of 1:20 to 1:2000 into Diluent.
