I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I now have further information to share with you in regards to the Neutrophil Elastase ELISA you are hoping to set up.
If you would be interested in setting up your own ELISA I have looked up the following components that should work together to work in an indirect ELISA:
Rabbit polyclonal anti-Neutrophil Elastase antibody (ab21595)
Goat polyclonal Secondary antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L, pre-adsorbed, HRP conjugated (ab97080)
Neutrophil Elastase protein (Active) (ab91099)
These three products come to a total of £616.
Although we have not used this particular combination in an ELISA, and the protein has not been used in an ELISA at all, I would expect it to work together. However, as we have not tried it I would not be able to guarantee it. I would however be able to offer you a testing discount as this is the case. This would mean that if you purchase ab91099 as normal, test it in an ELISA, and let us know the results through an Abreview (no matter whether the results are positive or negative) you would be eligible to receive the value of ab91099 off any future purchase with Abcam. The only constraint to this offer is that the "free" product must be claimed within 4 months of purchasing ab91099. More information on this offer can be found form the following link:
Please let me know if you would be interested in taking part in this scheme as a discount code needs to be generated prior to purchasing ab91099.
I am currently in contact with the source of the primary antibody in order to obtain the protocol used in ELISA with this antibody. Once I have this information I will let you know.
