Hyaluronic Acid Sodium Salt is a linear heteropolysaccharide with repeating 3-O-(ß-D-glucuronido)-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine units linked by ß-(1-->4)) hexosaminidic bonds [C14H22NNaO11]n. Molecular weights of hyaluronic acids vary from 0.1-10 million, depending on the source. The hyaluronic acid from rooster comb is expected to have a molecular weight of 1-4 million. We list the formula weight as 1.65 million (1650 kDa).
