  • Application notes
Indirect ELISA: use at 1/2000 to 1/20000
    Plate coating: use at 1/500
    Western Blot: use at 1/1000 - 1/5000.

This antibody can be used in two-site immunoassay for the determination of human IL-3.
It recognizes a different epitope than 1F4 (ab9814).
We recommend using this antibody (ab9815) as the coating antibody.
Useful for the detection of human IL-3 by Western blot.
  • Target

    • Function
Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages.
This CSF induces granulocytes, macrophages, mast cells, stem cells, erythroid cells, eosinophils and megakaryocytes.
    • Tissue specificity
Activated T-cells, mast cells, natural killer cells.
    • Sequence similarities
      Belongs to the IL-3 family.
    • Cellular localization
      Secreted.
