    Recognizes the core sequence 5'-TAAACA-3'. Binds to NFAT-like motifs (purine-rich) in the IL2 promoter. Also binds to HIV-1 long terminal repeat. May be involved in both positive and negative regulation of important viral and cellular promoter elements.

  • Anti-ILF1 antibody - ChIP Grade (ab5298) at 0.3 µg/ml + Human thymus lysate in RIPA buffer at 35 µg

    Predicted band size: 73 kDa

    ab5298 at a 2µg/ml concentration staining approximately 73 kDa ILF 1 in human heart lysate (30µg total protein per lane) by Western blot (ECL). Primary incubation was 1 hour.
  • Immunofluorescence analysis of U2OS cells, staining ILF1 with ab5298. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and incubated with primary antibody at 1/100 dilution. A FITC-conjugated rabbit anti-goat IgG was used as the secondary antibody.

This particular antibody has not been tested for ChIP in-house in our Lab. The application of ChIP and ChIP seq has been added from a specific reference PMID22083952.
