    May facilitate double-stranded RNA-regulated gene expression at the level of post-transcription. Can act as a translation inhibitory protein which binds to coding sequences of acid beta-glucosidase (GCase) and other mRNAs and functions at the initiation phase of GCase mRNA translation, probably by inhibiting its binding to polysomes. Can regulate protein arginine N-methyltransferase 1 activity. May regulate transcription of the IL2 gene during T-cell activation. Can promote the formation of stable DNA-dependent protein kinase holoenzyme complexes on DNA.

  • Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human ovarian carcinoma tissue stained for ILF3/NF90 using ab225626 at 1/5000 dilution in immunohistochemical analysis. Detection: DAB staining.

  • ILF3/NF90 was immunoprecipitated from HeLa (human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) with ab225626 at 6 µg/mg lysate. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab225626 at 1 µg/ml.

    Lane 1: ab225626 IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.

    Lane 2: Control IgG IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.

    Detection:  Chemiluminescence with exposure time of 1 second.
