I am looking for an antibody to any cell surface marker that will work on non-permeabilized HeLa cells. Any suggestions?

Thank you for contacting us. I have looked at a number of candidates for cell surface markers for HeLa cells, but I am not aware of any that are unique to HeLa cells, if you are trying to separate them from a mixed population. The following paper discusses CD51 expression on HeLa cells: Quantitation and kinetics of CD51 surface receptor expression: implications for targeted delivery. Ann Biomed Eng. 2004 May;32(5):635-44. PMID: 15171619 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15171619 Our antibody ab7166 has been used for flow cytometry on non-permeabilized cells: Click here (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=7166). Antibodies that recognize the extracellular portion of beta 1 integrin (CD29) will also label intact HeLa cells, for example ab30388: Click here (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?datasheet=30388). I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
