Images

  • ICC/IF image of ab15459 stained HeLa cells (ab150035ab15459), 1µg/ml) overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (green) was a goat anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor® 488 (IgG; H+L) ab150077) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Alexa Fluor® 594 WGA was used to label plasma membranes (red) at a 1/200 dilution for 1h. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43µM.

  • Human small intestine (ab29276) stained with anti-Integrin beta 5 antibody, ab15459 by Immunohistochemistry (FFPE-sections).

  • ab15459 staining Integrin beta 5 in Rat gastric epithelial cells by ICC/IF (Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton and blocked with 0.25% serum free protein for 20 minutes at 28°C. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/50 in antibody diluent) for 2 hours at 28°C. An FITC-conjugated Goat anti-IgG polyclonal (1/80) was used as the secondary antibody. Nuclei were counterstained with propidium iodide (ab14083).

Thank you for your enquiry. The molecular weight of 115 KDa you refer to is the PREDICTED molecular weight based on the SwissProt entry for human Integrin alpha v beta 5 (P08648). Integrins are heterodimeric plasma membrane cell surface receptors that consist of non covalently linked alpha and beta chains The alpha chain has a mol wt ranging from 120 kda-180 kda and the beta has mol wt from 90-110 kda.
