|IP||Use at 2-10 µg/mg of lysate.|
|IHC-P||1/500 - 1/2000. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
FunctionReceptor for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate, a second messenger that mediates the release of intracellular calcium.
Tissue specificityExpressed in intestinal crypt and villus epithelial cells.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the InsP3 receptor family.
Contains 5 MIR domains.
DomainThe receptor contains a calcium channel in its C-terminal extremity. Its large N-terminal cytoplasmic region has the ligand-binding site in the N-terminus and modulatory sites in the middle portion immediately upstream of the channel region.
modificationsPhosphorylated on tyrosine residues. Phosphorylated by AKT1 on serine and/or threonine residues.
Cellular localizationEndoplasmic reticulum membrane.

Immunohistochemical analysis of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human stomach carcinoma tissue labeling ITPR3 with ab264282 at 1/1,000 dilution. Detection: DAB.
Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.
ITPR3 was immunoprecipitated from 1mg of HeLa (Human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell lysate with ab264282 at 3 µg per reaction. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab264282 at 1 µg/ml.
Lane 1: ab264282 IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.
Lane 2: Control IgG.
Exposure time: 3 mins.
