Abcam response
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that ab61217 did not work in your Western Blotting experiment. Please note that this product has not been tested in mouse samples and may not be suitable for use in this species although the human and mouse KAT3B / p300 are ~97% homologous .

The following changes may improve your results: 1) Increase sample loading i.e. load 50 ug instead of 10 ug or use nuclear lysate samples; 2) Include recommended positive control MDA-MB-435 cells; and 3) Increase ab61217 concentration i.e. dilute at 1:500 instead of 1:1000. Please let us know what happens if you repeat your experiment following our recommendations.
