  • Function

    Forms a voltage-independent potassium channel that is activated by intracellular calcium. Activation is followed by membrane hyperpolarization which promotes calcium influx. Required for maximal calcium influx and proliferation during the reactivation of naive T cells. The channel is blocked by clotrimazole and charybdotoxin but is insensitive to apamin.

Here is the homology between human and mouse for the following antibodies (based on the alignment of their immunogen sequences) ab55452: homology = 94% - crossreactivity very likely, but not tested ab57662: homology = 96% - crossreactivity very likely, but not tested ab70477: homology = 36.4% - crossreactivity not very likely, but not tested ab75956: homology = 63% - crossreactivity not likely, but not tested ab119295: homology = 98% - crossreactivity very likely, but not tested Since non-crossreactivity or crossreactivity with mouse has not been tested, we would not be able to guarantee that the the antibodies will not work / work with mouse. For ab106987, I could not find the mouse sequence and am checking with the lab about that. Should you have access to such sequence for C1orf186 please let me know as well.
