Thank you for your generous offer, one last question. What is the 65-70 KDa band on the western blot picture that one can see on the data sheet ? was this picture out of any publication ? This band is much stronger than the positive one itself.

I received a reply from my lab colleagues who informed that the intense band at 65-70kD is either a degradation product of the full-length intact protein, or a non-specific band altogether. We are not absolutely sure exactly what this band is. Only work with positive controls would be able to determine if this was a degradation product of KIF15.
