    Exposure time: 8 minutes
  • IHC image of KIF1A staining in human hippocampus formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6, epitope retrieval solution 1) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab91029, 5µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Customer reviews and Q&As

The exact immunogen is proprietary information.

I checked the homology between human Kif1A and B and it is for the entire protein between 64 and 77%.

However, for the specific immunogen region (within residues 1500 - 1600 of Human KIF1A), the homology is only 37% and thus, unlikely to cross-react.

Thus, the antibody ab91029 is specific to Kif1A.
