May play a role in mitotic chromosomal positioning and bipolar spindle stabilization.
Tissue specificityHighly expressed in hematopoietic tissues, fetal liver, spleen, thymus and adult thymus and bone marrow. Lower levels are found in heart, testis, kidney, colon and lung.
