  • Relevance

KLH (Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin) is a copper containing oxygen carrier occurring freely dissolved in the hemolymph of many molluscs and arthropods. KLH is often used in molecular immunology as a carrier protein conjugated to low molecular weight molecules such as peptides, amino acids, nucleic acids, drugs or toxins to render them more immunogenic due to the size of the conjugate complex and the immunogenicity of KLH. KLH forms a large complex composed of ~50 kDa subunits.

Thank you for contacting us.

Yes, ab47052 would bind to F(ab')2 since this antibody reacts with the heavy chains on Mouse IgG and with light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins. The F(ab')2 fragment contains the light chains and part of the heavy chains.

The secondary antibody would be fine to use in flow cytometry and ELISA and we would guarantee it for these applications. I assume you have a plate reader for ELISA that covers the wavelength range?

The primary antibody has only been tested in flow cytometry, but not yet ELISA.

For UNTESTED species and/or applications, we have established a testing discount program. Here is a brief description of how it works:

The testing discount program is for customers who like to use an antibody/protein/kit on an untested species/application. You would purchase the antibody/protein/kit at full price, test it and submit an Abreview with your data (positive or negative). On your next order you will receive a discount for ONE antibody/protein at the full price (100%) of the antibody/protein you have tested, or a full price discount for the amount paid for the kit. The terms and conditions applicable to this offer can be found here: https://www.abcam.com/collaborationdiscount.
This programapplies to ELISA kits and other kits we offer.

Please let me know if I shall send you a testing discount code for trying ab34766 in ELISA.
