I have heard back from the lab and for ab72454, the homology with mouse is, unfortunately,not greater than 50%. Thus, the chance of crossreactivity is quite low and I would not recommend trying this antibody in mouse.

However, ab57827 shows a 100% homology of the immunogen with mouse and might be worthwhile trying. I can offer you a testing discount code for trying this antibody in mouse, besides sending it to you free of charge.

Other options to resolve this case are either a credit or refund.

Thank you for your reply. The information is very detailed and it is disappointing that the optimization steps did not help improve the results. The additional testing seems to confirm that the product received is not working as expected. The customer may of received a faulty vial therefore I would be happy to replace or refund the product.
