Kaveh Kahen

As President of Abcam, Dr. Kaveh Kahen leads the company’s strategy and operations to drive growth, innovation, and customer impact across the life sciences research and diagnostics markets.
Prior to joining Abcam, Kaveh served as President of Phenomenex, where he strengthened the company’s core business while expanding into high-growth areas including biopharma modalities, advanced sample preparation, and digital transformation. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at SCIEX and PerkinElmer, where he led global R&D and business operations, driving product innovation, portfolio transformation, and commercial growth. He also founded Sigma Analytical Services and served as CEO of Advion Interchim Scientific, where he led the successful integration and expansion of the combined business.
Kaveh holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The George Washington University and is a recognized innovator in the field, with ten U.S. patents in analytical instrumentation.
