Influenza A Virus Hemagglutinin SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Hemagglutinin protein in Cell culture media. Quantitate Influenza A Virus Hemagglutinin with 18.6 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:

-Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
-High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies
-Fully validated in biological samples
-96-wells plate breakable into 12 x 8 wells strips, available in 10-pack (10 x 96-well plates)

-Also available in a fully validated 384-well format.

This kit was made against Influenza A H1N1/Peurto Rico/8/1934. Cross reactivity was tested for Influenza A H3N2 (A/Darwin/9/2021), Influenza A H5N1 (A/Egypt/N000/2015), and Influenza A H1N1 (A/California/07/2009). No cross reactivity was observed.

Influenza A Virus Hemagglutinin also known as hemagglutinin or influenza HA is a surface glycoprotein found on the influenza A virus. Hemagglutinin has a mass of approximately 75 kDa and serves as an important player in the virus's ability to infect host cells. It is expressed on the exterior membrane of the influenza virus and allows the virus to attach to and enter host cells initiating the infection process.
