Interpolated concentrations of native alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein in male mouse urine samples.
The concentrations of alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein were measured in duplicates interpolated from the alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : male mouse urine 1 : 256. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein concentration was determined to be 1.94 µg/mL in male mouse urine.

The concentrations of alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein were measured in duplicates interpolated from the alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 1 : 2000 plasma (citrate) 1 : 8000 plasma (heparin) 1 : 4000 and plasma (EDTA) 1 : 2000. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein concentration was determined to be 16.84 µg/mL in serum 47.40 µg/mL in plasma (citrate) 24.08 µg/ml in plasma (heparin) and 17.47 µg/ml in plasma (EDTA).

The concentrations of alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein were measured in duplicates interpolated from the alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : mouse liver supernatant 50%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD n=2). The mean alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein concentration was determined to be 10.66 ng/mL in liver supernatant.

How the assay works
Mouse alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein ELISA Kit, Chemiluminescent (ab326384) SimpleStep Ignite™ ELISA employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step during a 30 min only incubation, significantly reducing assay time. By utilizing a chemiluminscent detection method this improves the sensitivity and dynamic range when compared to traditional colorimetric ELISAs.

Mouse alpha 1 acid Glycoprotein (ab326384) protocol summary
1. Mix : add samples / standards to the wells together with the capture and detector antibody cocktail. Incubate 30 min at room temperature
2. Wash
3. Add ChemiHRP development solution - incubate for 2 min
4. Read the results on a plate reader capable of luminescence detection
