Interpolated concentrations of native SAP in mouse serum and plasma samples.
The concentrations of SAP were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the SAP standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : serum 1 : 100,000, plasma (citrate) 1 : 100,000, plasma (EDTA) 1 : 100,000. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean SAP concentration was determined to be 197 μg/mL in neat serum, 98.7 μg/mL in neat plasma (citrate) and 176 μg/mL in neat plasma (EDTA).

Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean SAP concentration was determined to be 193 μg/mL in neat CD-1 serum, 433 μg/mL in neat C57BL-6 serum, and 583 μg/mL in neat BALB/c serum.

Mouse SAP ELISA Kit (ab235639) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of SAP protein in cell culture supernatant, cit plasma, edta plasma, and serum. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Mouse SAP with 11.3 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:
