Interpolated concentrations of native CXCL3 in spleen supernatant and lung supernatant.

The concentrations of CXCL3 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the CXCL3 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : 1 : 400 spleen supernatant and 1 : 800 lung supernatant. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CXCL3 concentration was determined to be 485 ng/mL in spleen supernatant and 1,677 ng/mL lung supernatant.

Rat CXCL3 ELISA Kit (ab243683) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of CXCL3 protein in cell culture supernatant, cit plasma, edta plasma, hep plasma, and serum. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Rat CXCL3 with 16 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:

- Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
- High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies

GRO gamma also known as CXCL3 is a chemokine with a molecular weight of approximately 7.9 kDa. It is a small protein belonging to the CXC chemokine family. GRO gamma is expressed in numerous tissues including epithelial cells fibroblasts and several leukocytes. This protein plays a significant role in chemotactic signaling drawing neutrophils to sites of inflammation and infection acting as both a signal and effector molecule in immune response.
