Biological function summary
The cholecystokinin receptor helps regulate satiety and digestive enzyme secretion. It is not typically part of a larger protein complex. The binding of cholecystokinin to CCK1-R stimulates pancreatic enzyme secretion gallbladder contraction and gastric emptying inhibition.
