We have systematically measured KD (the equilibrium dissociation constant between the antibody and its antigen), of more than 840 recombinant antibodies to assess not only their individual KD values but also to see the average affinity of antibody. Based on the comparison with published literature values for mouse monoclonal antibodies, Recombinant antibodies appear to be on average 1-2 order of magnitude higher affinity.

Biological function summary
The protein DDX50 plays roles in RNA processing and modification during ribosome production. It does not function alone but as part of a ribonucleoprotein complex that facilitates the maturation of ribosomal RNA. By interacting with other components it assists in the structural rearrangements and modifications necessary for proper ribosome assembly impacting overall cellular protein synthesis.

Cellular processes involving ribosome assembly and function depend on proteins like DDX50. It integrates in the ribosome biogenesis pathway influencing the synthesis and assembly of ribosomal subunits. In this pathway DDX50 works with proteins such as DDX21 and NOP56 sharing functional domains to facilitate efficient rRNA modification and processing which are critical to ribosome construction and cellular growth.
