The target IQGAP3 also known as IQ motif containing GTPase activating protein 3 is a protein with a mass of approximately 189 kDa. Mechanically IQGAP3 functions as a scaffolding protein and interacts with cytoskeletal elements and signaling molecules. It plays important roles in the regulation of cell morphology and motility. Practically this protein is expressed in various tissues including brain lung and liver with notable roles in the nervous and respiratory systems.
Biological function summary
