MS4A6A also known as Membrane-Spanning 4-Domains Subfamily A Member 6A is part of the MS4A gene family and plays a role in cellular functions. It has a molecular mass of approximately 22 kDa. MS4A6A is expressed mostly in hematopoietic and immune-related tissues such as the spleen and lymph nodes. The protein structure includes four transmembrane domains which anchors it within the cell membrane allowing for potential interactions with other membrane-associated proteins.
