N42L1 also known as Olfactomedin-like 2B (OLFML2B) is a protein found across various tissues in the body with significant expression in the brain and reproductive tissues. It is a member of the olfactomedin family and has a molecular mass of approximately 62 kDa. N42L1 acts as a secreted glycoprotein and possesses olfactomedin domains which are believed to contribute to extracellular matrix organization. The protein is widely studied for its biochemical properties including its role in cellular adhesion processes.
