Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence - Anti-Naked1 antibody (AB237535)

HepG2 (human liver hepatocellular carcinoma cell line) cells stained for Naked1 using ab237535 at a dilution of 1/200 in ICC/IF.

The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal goat serum. The cells were then incubated with the primary antibody overnight at 4°C. Secondary used is an Alexa-Fluor^®488-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L). Counterstained with DAPI.

Naked1 also known as Nkd1 is a protein with a mass of approximately 48 kDa. It acts as an antagonist in the Wnt signaling pathway by binding to Dishevelled an intracellular protein that transmits Wnt signals. Naked1 is expressed in various tissues including the heart brain and muscles. In addition to its role in the Wnt pathway Naked1 serves as a regulatory protein providing significant control over signal transduction that influences cell fate decisions.
