Neurobeachin-like 1 (NBEAL1) is a protein involved in several cellular activities. Also known as KIAA1566 it has a molecular mass of approximately 327 kDa. NBEAL1 is expressed in a variety of human tissues including brain and testes. It contains several domains such as the BEACH coiled-coil and WD40 domains which are important for its intracellular functions.
