Raftlin also known as RFTN1 is an important glycoprotein in cellular mechanics. It has a molecular mass of approximately 180 kDa. Raftlin is broadly expressed in various cell types including immune and epithelial cells. It plays a role mainly in cell membrane components often found in lipid rafts contributing to signal transduction processes.

Raftlin plays a significant role in immune system functioning. It is important in the formation and stability of lipid rafts specialized membrane microdomains that facilitate efficient signaling. Raftlin associates with the B-cell receptor complex stabilizing complex formation and affecting antibody-mediated immune responses.
