RNF125 also known as TRAC-1 is a protein encoded by the RNF125 gene. It belongs to the RING finger family and functions as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which attaches ubiquitin to protein substrates directing them for degradation. RNF125 has a molecular mass of approximately 51 kDa. Researchers observe its expression predominantly in immune-related tissues such as the thymus spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes.
