RPL35 also known as Ribosomal Protein L35 plays an essential role in ribosome function. It is a component of the large 60S ribosomal subunit and has a molecular mass of around 13.4 kDa. RPL35 exhibits widespread expression in human tissues suggesting it is necessary for general protein synthesis functions across different cell types.

RPL35's integration into the ribosome assists in the assembly of new proteins by ensuring correct translation.
