SFT2D2 also known as Suppressor of Fused (Sof1) in yeast is a protein involved in membrane trafficking and sorting within cells. It has a mass of approximately 21 kDa and is localized in the membranes of the Golgi apparatus and cytoplasmic vesicles. Expression of SFT2D2 occurs in various tissues with high levels observed in the liver and kidney. The protein possesses transmembrane domains that allow it to facilitate movement of vesicles between organelles.

SFT2D2 plays a role in the Golgi apparatus' function and vesicular transport processes. It is part of a larger protein complex that helps mediate vesicle fusion and cargo transport.
