USP31 also known as Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 31 belongs to the family of deubiquitinating enzymes. It plays a role in regulating protein homeostasis by removing ubiquitin from target proteins. USP31 has a molecular mass of approximately 140 kDa. It is expressed across various tissues but shows higher levels in the liver brain and immune cells. This expression pattern suggests its involvement in important cellular processes within these tissues.
