ZMIZ2 also known as Zinc Finger MIZ-Type Containing 2 is a transcriptional co-activator. It has a molecular mass of about 130-150 kDa determined by its sequence and glycosylation state. ZMIZ2 localizes primarily in the nucleus and exhibits expression in various tissues with notable levels in the testis brain and skin. The protein contains a zinc finger domain which allows it to interact with other transcription factors and plays a role in the regulation of gene expression.
