NDST3 also known as N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferase 3 is an enzyme that facilitates important steps in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate by removing N-acetyl groups and adding sulfate groups to glucosamine residues. This enzyme has a molecular mass of approximately 110 kDa and is primarily expressed in tissues with high proteoglycan content such as the brain.
