Uteroglobin also known as Clara cell secretory protein (CC16) is a small secreted protein with a molecular mass of approximately 16 kDa. Expressed chiefly in the respiratory epithelium of the lungs particularly by Clara cells it is also present in other tissues such as the kidney and uterus.
