Lyophilized Exosome Standard (HCT116 cell line)(ab327038) contains purified exosomes (small-EVs) of Human Colon Carcinoma cell line (HCT116) origin. Available in 2x 100 µg format. Suitable to use in the following applications:
- Control (spike-in) for EV quantification, protein marker analysis (ELISA, Western blot, Flow cytometry).
- Extraction and analysis of EV associated nucleic acids (qPCR, ddPCR, RNA seq) and NTA, fluorescent NTA (F-NTA).
- Single EV analysis by electron microscopy (TEM), Fluorescent microscopy.
- Number of particles in 100µg: > 1x1010

Purified exosomes (small EVs) and microvesicles (large EVs) are produced from cell-conditioned media prepared from cells sourced from a certified cell bank. Exosomes/small EVs (40–120 nm) are purified using a tangential flow filtration process, followed by size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Purified EVs are validated and characterized for overall protein content, marker expression (CD9, CD63, CD81), particle concentration and size distribution, and morphology (TEM).
