Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab16718 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|ELISA||Use at an assay dependent dilution.|
|IP||Use a concentration of 1 - 10 µg/ml.|
|ICC/IF||Use at an assay dependent concentration.|
|WB||Use a concentration of 1 - 10 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 73 kDa. Detects a band of approximately 76 KDa in HEK293 lysate and 90 kDa in rat hippocampal membranes.|
Western blots using ab16718.
1: HEK293 cells transfected with Kv1.4.
2: Rat hippocampal membrane.
The size difference observed can probably be explained by differential post-translational processing.
ab16718 detecting rat recombinant protein by ELISA. Kv1.4 amino terminal domain was immobilized on 96-well plate using streptavidin-biotin interaction. Wells were blocked in 1% milk for 30 minutes at 19°C. The primary antibody was diluted 1/500 & 1/750 in PBS-Tween(0.1%) and incubated for 1 hour at 19°C. HRP conjugated goat monoclonal to rabbit, 1/2000 dilution was used as secondary.
ab16718 has not yet been referenced specifically in any publications.
