Hepatic lipase has the capacity to catalyze hydrolysis of phospholipids, mono-, di-, and triglycerides, and acyl-CoA thioesters. It is an important enzyme in HDL metabolism. Hepatic lipase binds heparin. -

Immunohistochemical analysis of paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded Human liver carcinoma tissue labeling LIPC with ab217360 at 1/200 dilution overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.
Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) for 15 minutes; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes; Blocking buffer (BSA or normal goat serum) at 37°C for 20 minutes.
